As a coach I design an environment in which my clients are free to discover what's true for them. Then I guide them as they design a strategy to get more out of business and life, given what's true.
In truth, we are all designing most of the time. Have a look at Steve Roesler's post which makes this abundantly clear.
My questions for you are:
- What are you designing?
- Once you call yourself a designer, how will that change your approach to work and life?
Lagniappe*
I like to design laughs for my friends, too. Last week as I prepared for my first radio call in show, Steve Roesler asked me how I was feeling. I told him I was relaxed and ready, and sent him this photo to prove the point. It's a combination of me at about 20 and Steve (at about ???). Don't I look relaxed and ready to pontificate?
*Lagniappe is a Louisiana word meaning "a little something extra." It's like a "baker's dozen." And it's a great restaurant a few blocks from home.
