In this season of Thanksgiving I have been reflecting on those who have impacted my life over the past year. These thirteen bloggers have taught me much this year, and continue to be sources of information, inspiration and introspection. Thanks to all of you for helping enrich my life this year.
- Daily dose of imagery - I'm a photographer on my off-days, and often find Sam's images intriguing. Because he often explains how he got a particular effect, I also learn from his posts.
- Career Hub - 19 experts writing about careers and personal branding. In a few hundred words, these folks are often able to give me just the boost I need for my own job search.
- BlogWrite for CEOs - Debbie Weil writes about blogging at the top of companies, and has taught me much about how I can integrate blogging into my internal and external communications.
- ChangeThis Newsletter - Every month this site publishes essays on a broad range of subjects, all downloadable as PDF files.
- The Coach Approach - Lora Banks on leadership skills, with a focus on relationships.
- Customer eXperience Crossroads - a great blog about branded customer experiences and how to create and maintain them. In October, Susan combined with several other bloggers for a fun series on restrooms and how they impact on a company's brand.
- JibberJobber - Jason Alba's blog about all things job-search.
- The Happiness Project - Gretchen has been chronicling her exploration of happiness - how to get it, how to keep it, how to spread it. Her blog frequently wakes me up to the finer things in life (i.e., it isn't all about work).
- The LEAN Executive - As I try to learn more about Lean Manufacturing and what it means in my business, Bill and Mark have been reliable guides.
- Passion, People and Principles - David Maister has the knack of inviting thoughtful comments by asking tough questions to which he does not yet have the answer. Rather than preach from a mountaintop (a trap I sometimes fall into), David genuinely wants ideas and advice from his readers.
- Successful Blog - Liz runs the best conversation-among-friends in the blogosphere. And on very interesting topics.
- Servant-Leadership Blog - Ideas from the faculty of Viterbo University's MA in Servant-Leadership. How to combine business results with the growth of a company's people.
- Strategy Central - Mark Howell writing about leadership, vision, strategy and mission.
